wedding reception at the deCordova Museum
Robin and Sergi both live in New York City, so the entire wedding planning process happened long distance. We were so happy to oblige with this couple’s long distance challenge as technology made the communication very possible and frequent. Through our many video chats, emails, phone calls and texts, here is what we learned that the couple wanted:

  • A beautiful wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all at the same location, but in three separate spaces
  • Over-the-top décor in a warm, romantic atmosphere
  • Seamless details tying together each of the three spaces

Our team loved the idea of an over-the-top wedding that incorporated three distinct, yet cohesive, spaces. The couple decided to go with an orange, yellow and pink color scheme which gave us plenty of floral options, and they were woven into just about every aspect of the design!

Though this particular wedding required numerous logistical meetings with the director of the venue and the florist (as well as meetings between the couple and us, the wedding planners!), the end result was so romantic, deep and ornate—just like the couple wanted!

In the end, the industrially and architecturally-unique look and extra details (from the cake to the centerpieces), the overall beautiful occasion had both the couple and guests expressing audible wows and awes. The dream-like environment surrounding this special day for Robin and Sergi will never be forgotten.
